In this video, we’ll be teaching you how to use the Valet Parking Key in your 2015 Volkswagen Passat. The Valet Key keeps your belongs secure while someone else is driving your vehicle. The valet key is found in the left side of the glovebox. Slide up on the key to remove it. You can now store your valuables in the glovebox. Hit the button that looks like a lock over a car. Valet Parking Mode is now activated. Lock the glovebox with your valet key, and you’ll see that the glovebox is not only locked, but your normal key for the ignition will not unlock the glovebox, so keep the valet key with you when you leave your vehicle. If your Passat is equipped with a rear seat trunk passthrough, lock this with the valet key as well. Place any valuables you have in the trunk, and when you close it, the Valet Parking mode will also keep the trunk from being opened by the key fob or physical button. When you return to your vehicle, unlock the glovebox with your valet key, and slide the key in from above. Never try to snap it in from the front. You can turn off the valet parking button. Now you’re set to secure your belongings the next time your hand your keys to someone else. For more videos on the Passat and other Volkswagen models, subscribe to our channel. .
