2017 Volkswagen Touareg: Safety Features

In Volkswagen Touareg

In this video we will be taking a look at the top 5 safety features found in the new 2017 Volkswagen Touareg. 1) Forward Collision Warning with Autonomous Emergency Braking: Sensors in the front of your Volkswagen can send an alert when you are approaching another car too quickly. If you fail to brake, the system will apply the brakes to help reduce the severity of a potential impact. 2) Park Distance Control: Park Distance Control, or Park Pilot, emits a beeping sound and visually shows you when you get too close to an obstacle while you are parking. So you can park with a little more confidence. 3) Adaptive Cruise Control: Adaptive Cruise Control helps to keep you at a certain distance from the car in front of you while in cruise control. The sensors will brake and accelerate to help keep you at your set distance. It also works in the city in stop-and-go traffic. So, you can have confidence that your vehicle has your back. And your front at all times. 4) Overhead View Camera: The Overhead View Camera has four separate cameras, one on each side of the Touareg, that help give you a bird’s-eye view of where you are, and can even show cross-traffic at an intersection. Now you can have a view from just about any angle. 5) 4MOTION All-Wheel Drive System: The Touareg’s 4MOTION system sends power to the wheels that need it most. It can send up to 60% of torque to the front and up to 80% of torque to the rear wheels. This helps maintain traction on or off the road. Thanks for watching!
