Hi! I’m Christopher Stewart, Senior Salesperson here at Neil Huffman Volkswagen on 4926 Dixie Highway, and I’m here to show you the 2018 Volkswagen Passat. This is an SE Passat with Technology in the new Tourmaline Blue for 2018. You can’t see it but under this hood it is a new 2.0 turbo engine which gives you the great turbo power you’re used to with your Volkswagen but also using regular gas – so you’re saving money. Some of the new features in the Passat – you’ll notice that you’d have the LED lighting here for the daytime running lights. The technology package is going to give you the headlight it’s going to give you the fog lights. And then if you notice here you’ve got the flat hood ornaments. Behind that is all your safety features like the Radar Cruise Control, the things that are going to keep you from running into the car in front of you or hitting some dog or child that runs into the street. So, you come around the side you’ll notice that on any Passat you’re gonna have alloy wheels and wraparound lights. These are designed for safety the lights so people can see you. But the alloy wheels are designed so that when they’re spinning they’re pulling air across the brakes and tires the cooler they are the better they react when you’re in an emergency situation. Come along to the breakaway mirrors here on the side of the Passat, you’ll notice that you have the icon here for the blind spot monitors which also affords you the safety feature of Rear Cross-Traffic alerts. So as you’re backing up if someone’s coming from the side it’s going to warn you as well. You have your backup camera and let you know who is exactly behind you. SE trims are all going to come with the blind spot monitors the sunroof package but also the Kessy System which allows you to unlock the door without taking the key out of your pocket or lock the door without taking the key out of your pocket. When you come around to the back of the Passat all of the doors open up this 90 degree angle and the benefit of that 90 degree angle is it’s easy to get in and out of the car.I’m only 40 that’s not a huge deal for me but if you’re getting grandma back here or you’re getting kids in their car seats it’s a big deal. Power locks, power windows, standard on any Volkswagen, any trim. Come around here to the back of the car and you’ll notice again the large wrap around lights. The technology package, were inside so I don’t have the key in my
pocket, but if I just kick like this – that would pop open if I had the key in my pocket. You have an enormous trunk, as well. You’re able to fit quite a bit of your gear for your daily life and adventures. Your seats fold down here. Again, for safety someone breaks into your car they’re not able to break into your trunk because the seats fold down from here. It’s also a convenience feature since 90% of the time when we’ve we’re loading something into the trunk or letting we need to be back here as well. You’ll notice here these circles – those are your parking sensors for your Park Pilot. This is one of the self parking Volkswagens that will both park the car for you and parallel park the car for you. The 2018 Passat features a new interior in the SE trim you’ll notice that we have replaced the analog clock with just some brand badging. But you still have the leather wrapped steering wheel with the cruise control radio controls, and controls for the car’s computer. You’ve got the wood paneling on the inside. You’ve got your touchscreen radio, any level of Passat will have a touch screen radio with backup camera. This is the SE with technology so you’ll have navigation, heated seats in the front and in the back, fog lights, Apple Carplay, and Android Auto are standard. The Passat the SE was technology also will give you the blind spot monitors and USB in the front and the back. Thank you! Come down and see us! .
