TRAVIS LANGNESS: We’re at the Detroit Auto Show in front of the all new completely redesigned Volkswagen Tiguan. It’s longer than before and now it has an optional third row. The Tiguan in the past didn’t have a lot of the optional safety features that cars like the Honda CR-V did, but now you can get things like a 360-degree camera, as well as adaptive cruise control and blind spot monitoring. Also, standard items on the Tiguan include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and a rear-view camera. So this new longer Tiguan also gets a new power train up front, a new 2-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, along with an 8-speed automatic transmission. And first impressions are we like the way it looks. We like the way the old one drove, and we’re excited to test this one out in the future. We like the design of the new Tiguan, but what do you guys think? Let us know in the comments section below.
