2019 Volkswagen Jetta – 10-color Ambient Interior Lighting Demo

In Volkswagen Jetta

In this video we will be taking a look at the ambient interior lighting feature inside the 2019 Volkswagen Jetta. The brand new 2019 Volkswagen Jetta has plenty of new design features inside and outside. Highlighted by brand new interior ambient lighting, available on the SEL and SEL Premium trim levels. To access this feature, press the car button on the right side of the entertainment center, then press the settings button in the bottom right corner of the screen. Scroll down and press Ambient lighting. You then have access to the 10 different color options, as well as brightness levels. Additionally you can control the brightness of each of the lighting zones; the dash, the entertainment center, above the glove box and the doors. When you change the colors of the lighting bars, the accent colors on your display and digital cockpit will change to match.Unfortunately, you cannot currently change the different zones to unique colors, for example have the dash be pink and the doors be blue. Volkswagen may add this customization at some point. Aside from the manual control you can change the lighting to automatic, this will change the lighting based on your driving mode; Eco, normal, sport or custom. Thanks for watching!
