Hi, my name’s Aaron Frazer, Volkswagen Sales Specialist at Miles Continental. I’m here to let you know about our 2013 World Car of the Year Mark 7 Golf We’re going to start at the front with our walk around today, featuring our front headlights which includes safety daytime driving lights, and headlights are also polycarbonate which are very very strong, scratch resistant, and we have separate daytime running lights as well for your safety. We have body style lines – or swage lines – which look fantastic but also act to deflect wind from the driver to keep it quiet inside and also aerodynamic for fuel efficiency as well. We have wiper blades with a spoiler on the top. This is designed so that they won’t judder at high speed and also we have non-visible wiper sprayers as well. The wiper sprayers are hidden, that way they are pedestrian safe and also much more stylish for your front bonnet as well. Our side mirrors collapse both ways, they also have indicators on for safety as well on the side of the mirrors, and are also electrically adjustable and heated for frosty or rainy conditions. We have a fifteen-inch ‘Lion’ Volkswagen alloy wheel with premium Continental tyre with a very very large side profile of sixty-five for maximum comfort on the road. The Volkswagen Golf has heat insulated glass the entire way around the vehicle for keeping it cooler inside and also making it less visible from the outside. Come around the back of the car, we have our very secret boot latch which, instead of being ugly on the bottom, is very very discreet and attractive and hidden away in your badge. Showing a massive boot capacity. The Golf also has a removable parcel tray trade which can stow underneath the boot well. This allows you to tuck it away and have it somewhere safe rather than running it over in the garage. Looking at the inside of the Volkswagen Golf we have storage under our seat. It’s a very clever spot to tuck things away out of sight. The Volkswagen Golf has an electronic handbrake which allows us to always have the handbrake on at maximum and also for convenience and space. As well as the handbrake we have an automatic hold feature, too, for our hill hold assistant. With the absence of a traditional handbrake, we have a lot more space for things like cupholders and coin storage. The Golf is loaded with BlueMotion technology for fuel efficiency. One of the most important features of BlueMotion is our
stopping and starting technology. The stop-start technology saves you fuel by stopping your car when you’re at the traffic light, and immediately – by taking the brake off – starts your car again. This is a little bit disconcerting until you get used to it, but it’s a great feature to save you fuel. The Volkswagen Golf is fitted with an electronic stability control, offering you traction control, an anti-skid regulator, and ABS braking as well. One of the features of the Golf is being able to deactivate the electronic stability control through the driver’s menu if you need to.In addition to all these great features, we also have 15,000 kilometre or 12 months service intervals, and that’s across the whole Volkswagen passenger range. I could talk all day about the fantastic Golf, but don’t take my word for it. Make sure you come in to Miles Continental for a test drive at any time. .
